P.A.W.S. (Pets of Aguirre Welfare Shelter)

PAWS is a Costa Rican nonprofit association founded by the Quepos/Matapalo Ladies Group to address the issue of homeless animals in the Quepos, Manuel Antonio and Aguirre area.

While working to fund and build an animal shelter for the area, PAWS is reducing the number of homeless animals by sponsoring spay and neutering programs and promoting responsible pet ownership.

PAWS also offers assistance to qualified locals who shelter abandoned animals in their homes.

PAWS Mission
To provide no-kill solutions to reduce the number of homeless cats and dogs through education, rehabilitation and re-homing.
